What is Little Stars?
Using inspiration from Early Childhood Music philosophies and pedagogies of Musikgarten and Music Learning Theory in addition to Suzuki Talent Education, our Early Childhood Music Program is reimagined with our new “Little Stars” program.
The Little Stars program is designed to develop and explore the music potential of our young students. Just like language, music is best learned through informal guidance from a young age–listening to sounds, babbling, mimicking, and ultimately reproducing these sounds. Children are guided by their teachers and “home teachers” – their parent – to develop music skills through play; using fun, socially interactive songs, chants, and movements during class and at home.
The structure of our classes is designed to develop each child’s potential for music achievement in a natural manner. Our goal is to help increase your child’s music aptitude and develop initial music skills that will prepare your child for a lifetime of music enjoyment and appreciation.
In Summer, 2024, Little Stars is offering a variety of options for children up to age 5 and their participating parent to have fun together with music, while learning skills that will enhance their musical sensitivity and readiness for instrumental instruction.
In the Little Stars program, children must be accompanied by a participating parent during each class.
